1. Genetek Lifesciences has received FDA approval to make Amphotericin B injection for black fungus infection. Company announced that it could provide medicine in five fold lesser price. 

2. Dr Reddy's Laboratories announed the launch of Ertapenem for Injection, in collaboration with gland pharma.  

3. Alembic Pharma has received approval for Lurasidone Hydrochloride used to treat bipolar depression which have an estimated market size of USD 3.7 billion for the twelve months ending December 2020.

4. Glenmark's Fabiflu, posted sales of Rs 352 crore in April alone, overtaking sales of drugs for lifestyle ailments such as diabetes, which have long dominated the market.

5. Recent results from Phase IIIa study have unveiled that Novo Nordisk’s weight loss drug semaglutide improved physical function and wellbeing among people with obesity.

6. Eli Lilly has issued additional royalty-free, non-exclusive voluntary licenses to established Indian pharma manufacturers of generic medicines, Dr Reddy’s, MSN Laboratories and Torrent Pharmaceuticals, who will be collaborating with Lilly to accelerate and expand the availability of baricitinib in India
